There's really something magic about walking into an Inksmith & Rogers, and if you ever have I'm sure you would agree. Seeing all the history on those walls and knowing all the legends that have come in and out of those doors...its really something special. I went down to Jacksonville in the beginning of April to fill in for Lars at the Riverside location. My good friend Cody Klein had put me on and I was super nervous. I had never done a real guestspot before, so not knowing what to expect combined with working alongside that caliber of artists, made for a particularly anxiety filled few days. This is one of the tattoos I did down there and Cody was nice enough to send me a healed picture a few weeks later. It turned out to be one the best experiences of my career and I can't wait to go back. Thanks again to Angelo, Cody and all the Inksmith guys for being so welcoming and down to earth.
Really enjoyed doing this piece for Cera today. I wont pretend like I know exactly what it is, but i do know its a spirit-esque animal from the Harry Potter series. I typically get asked to do black and grey projects but this monochromatic piece was nice for me to step outside of my box. Thanks again Cera!!
